Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and processing of financial transactions, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Support the Assistant Controller in daily, monthly, and annual financial responsibilities, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet departmental deadlines and achieve financial goals.
- Develop and maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including ledgers and spreadsheets.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay up-to-date with changing financial regulations and industry best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our financial operations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Accounting preferred.
- Three years of work experience in a business environment, with a strong background in computerized accounting systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Access.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound financial decisions.
- Experience with Oracle or other accounting software.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and industry best practices.
- Ability to travel for training and meetings.
