Medical Assistant/LPN Opportunity at Froedtert Health

We are seeking skilled Medical Assistants and Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team at Froedtert Health. As a Medical Assistant/LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:
  • Pre-visit planning and standard rooming responsibilities
  • Assisting with procedures and discharge instructions
  • Collaborating with providers to ensure seamless patient care
  • Cross-training and floating as needed to maintain optimal clinic operations
Requirements:
  • One to two years of clinical experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent required within 90 days of hire
  • Meet one of the following combinations of education and experience:
    • A graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES-accredited Medical Assistant Program (Associate, Diploma, or Certificate)
    • A graduate of a non-CAAHEP or ABHES Medical Assistant program (Associate, Diploma, or Certificate) or Military Medic/Corpsman training
    • Currently possess and are in good standing with at least one of the following credentials: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - AAMA, Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) - AMT, Assessment-Based Recognition in Order Entry (ABR-OE), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) - NHA
