Job Summary:

Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a night shift position. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments and conduct prescribed therapeutic procedures
• Implement appropriate modalities and collaborate with team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain a current credential as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Maintain a current license by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Respiratory Therapist

Requirements:

• Associate Degree Graduate of an approved Respiratory program including clinical experience or prior work experience
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy theory and practice is required, preferably through the completion of an AMA-approved school
• Current certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
