Job Summary

Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a PRN night shift position. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day activities in the Respiratory Services Department and its satellites, under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient assessment and conduct prescribed therapeutic procedures and implement appropriate modalities accordingly.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes consistent with evidence-based practice.
  • Maintain a current credential as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Current certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS is required.
