Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery

TotalMed Staffing is seeking a skilled travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery to join our team in Brattleboro, Vermont.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Labor and Delivery unit. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to laboring women and their newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as cesarean sections and postpartum hemorrhages.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure informed decision-making and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in Vermont.
  • Experience in Labor and Delivery, with a focus on high-risk pregnancies and postpartum care.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple patients simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
