Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery

TotalMed Staffing is seeking a skilled travel nurse RN for a Labor and Delivery position in a reputable healthcare facility.

  • What level of trauma facility, if any, is your facility? We are not a trauma facility.
  • How big is your facility (# of beds)? 61 bed.
  • How is there unit set up? # of beds on the Unit? # of birthing rooms? 7 total rooms, plus the nursery.
  • We are licensed for 11 bassinets, and 9 maternity beds. Overflow rooms available adjacent to the unit if needed.
  • Percentage of high risk births, if any? We are a Level One Nursery, so we attempt to transfer the higher risk births to a tertiary center.
  • Is the RN required to do ante(pre)/post partum? Yes.
  • Is the RN required to scrub or circulate on C-sections? No (scrub to receive the neonate from sterile field only)
  • What is the Nurse to patient ratio? We attempt to stick with AWHONN staffing guidelines.
