Caregiver Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Unison Home Care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

**Responsibilities:**

* Assist clients with all activities of daily living (ADL) tasks, including grooming, washing, and maintaining personal hygiene standards.

* Prepare and serve healthy, nutritious meals, taking into account any special dietary needs and personal preferences.

* Identify activities that would appeal to the patients and ensure they are suitably stimulated.

* Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and organizing the client's living space.

* Lift, move, position, and transport clients as needed.

* Provide social companionship and engage in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.

* Ensure clients take their prescribed medication in a timely manner.

* Assist with physical therapy exercises and other therapeutic activities.

* Escort clients to and from appointments and engage in activities outside of the home.

* Take clients' temperatures, pulse, and weight as needed.

* Follow care plans created by medical staff and report any changes in health or behavior.

**Requirements:**

* High school diploma or equivalent required.

* Previous experience as a Caregiver or in a related field preferred.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to lift, move, and position clients as needed.

* Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable).
