POSITION OBJECTIVE:

Spencer Thomas Group (STG) is seeking a Lead Implementation Project Manager.

In this role, you will oversee the implementation and support of UKG Workforce Dimensions/ADP Workforce Manager and Payroll solutions, ensuring that all STG Professional Services KPIs are met through effective consulting and implementation services for UKG and ADP Clients, adhering to established standards and timelines.

Your leadership and analytical capabilities will be essential in driving projects to successful completion, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within scope, and on budget. We provide the necessary tools for your success, along with ongoing opportunities for training and career advancement. You will also be responsible for onboarding and mentoring new Project Managers, as well as contributing technical expertise to release readiness, business process improvement, and transformation initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee all phases of project management, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans detailing deliverables, activities, timelines, and budgets.
  • Direct daily project activities and manage staff within a matrixed organization.
  • Ensure successful achievement of milestones through effective oversight of project vehicles and resource coordination.
  • Collaborate with various departments that impact project outcomes.
  • Facilitate communication with stakeholders and team members throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide regular and on-demand status reports and updates.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
  • Identify, manage, resolve, and escalate risks and issues as necessary.
  • Customize processes to align with the specific needs of individual projects.
  • Make informed decisions promptly based on available information and input.
  • Handle projects of significant complexity.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in project management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates with the following qualifications will be given preference:

  • PMP or equivalent professional project management certification.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Manager, UKG Dimensions, Kronos WFC/Workforce Central, ADP eTime, or similar systems.
  • Prior implementation experience is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and structured methodologies.
  • Understanding of functional areas and related company products.
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management skills for managing multiple and competing priorities.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Vision.
  • Commitment to accountability for results.
  • Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
  • High emphasis on client service.
  • Capacity for independent thinking and decision-making.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborative work approach.
  • Aptitude for effectively leading a team of peers to meet overall project timelines.
