Maintenance Work Study

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Equipment Technician to join our team at American Regent, Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and calibration tasks, executing repairs, and operating plant utilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and calibration tasks on all types of plant equipment under direct supervision.
  • Execute repairs with guidance from more experienced personnel, including assessing instrument failures and developing action plans for repair.
  • Operate plant utilities, monitoring site operating parameters and responding to out-of-range conditions or trends.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • H.S. diploma or GED required; trade school/certification in a technical discipline preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing or lab environment preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and electronics, as well as pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical control systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot systems and instruments, describe technical issues, and document work performed.
  • Good organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Environment and Physical Requirements:

The successful candidate will be physically able to wear cleanroom/protective gowning and equipment, including gowning, goggles, face shields, respirators, and protective gloves. PPE and respirators are essential for the health and safety of employees.
