Job Title: Dietitian Nutritionist

About the Role:

We are seeking a Full Time Registered Dietitian II to provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units, including the ICU. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be involved in hospital-wide committees, perform quality improvement initiatives, and educate healthcare team members.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nutritional care for inpatient units, including the ICU
  • Participate in hospital-wide committees to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to educate and train on nutrition-related topics
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • Eligibility for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24, or a Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire
