We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian II to join our team at Rockledge Regional Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in the region. As a Registered Dietitian II, you will play a critical role in providing nutritional care to patients across various inpatient units, including the ICU.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nutritional care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized nutrition plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Conduct educational programs for healthcare staff on nutrition-related topics.
- Participate in hospital-wide committees to drive nutrition-related initiatives and policies.
- Master's degree in Nutrition or related field, with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
- Eligibility for registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field, with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
- Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
