Job Summary:The Rad Technologist Sr/MRI/On-Call/UKHC is responsible for performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures in accordance with standards and practice set forth by ARRT and Department Policies and Procedures. This role requires a strong knowledge of human structure and functions, patient care, positioning, principles of electromagnetic and computer sciences, magnetic protection, and specialized techniques.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures per department protocols
- Provide feedback on image quality for improvement as needed
- Address customer needs appropriately according to age-specific, service-specific, and disease-specific criteria
- Utilize proper procedure for identifying patients
- Maintain patient efficiency by spending the most appropriate amount of time for each task and interaction
- Adhere to UK behavioral standards during interactions with patients, coworkers, and physicians
