Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Room Attendant is to provide exceptional service to guests by ensuring that suites and rooms are impeccably cleaned and prepared for incoming guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly clean assigned suites and rooms in accordance with established standards, including making beds, sanitizing bathrooms, vacuuming carpets, washing dishes, and dusting furniture.
  • Restock and organize essential items in suites, such as paper products, toiletries, towels, and other amenities.
  • Maintain cleanliness of immediate exterior entry areas and windows.
  • Ensure housekeeping carts are stocked and organized daily.
  • Complete maintenance requests and deliver them to the appropriate personnel promptly.
  • Respond courteously to guest special requests.
  • Provide information to guests regarding hotel services and local attractions.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Willingness to learn and ask questions as needed.
  • Physical ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs throughout an 8-hour shift.
  • Must possess the stamina to maintain a consistent level of activity during the workday.
