Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and administrative support to our fast-paced multi-state Psychiatric Med Clinic Program.
  • Assist with front office duties, including inbound and outbound calls, voicemails, faxes, scheduling, referrals, and verifying insurance.
  • Ensure demographics and insurance are up to date in the Electronic Health Record.
  • Communicate with patients, coworkers, and outside agencies daily.
  • Assist with sending and completing forms, such as screening tools, intake paperwork, and consents.
  • Complete documents, upload documents, and maintain the Electronic Health Record.
  • Submit refill requests to the practitioner, communicate and call in approved refills to the Pharmacy while documenting efforts within the Electronic Health Record.
  • Monitor medications and provide ongoing support and education regarding medications and diagnosis.
  • Complete nursing assessments while documenting and billing process notes in the Electronic Health Record.
  • Serve as the clinical support liaison between practitioner, other professionals, and agencies as it relates to the patient.
  • Communicate with patients, colleagues, and other individuals to answer questions or explain information while addressing the patient's needs and/or concerns.
  • Assist practitioners in submitting Prior Authorization (PA) requests for medication.
  • Assist in obtaining client lab results.
  • If on site, obtain vitals and complete forms.
  • If on site, the employee must independently transport themselves in their own vehicle to attend clinic days. The employee must agree and accept this job duty requires them to maintain a current driver's license, a safe driving record, current vehicle insurance, and always maintain their vehicle in safe operating condition.
  • Maintain patient and employee privacy in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Must hold a current Registered Nurse license in the state where services are provided.
