Comfort Keepers of St. Cloud, MN is seeking a part-time Overnight Caregiver to provide exceptional care and support to our clients in the Buffalo area.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning bathrooms, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, linen change, vacuuming, laundry, and garbage disposal.
  • Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
  • Engage in conversation and provide companionship to our clients.
  • Assist with interactive caregiving activities, such as reading, puzzles, and games.
  • Accompany clients on errands and provide transportation as needed.
  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
  • Provide hands-on personal care, including assistance with incontinence and mobility.
  • Administer medication as directed by the client's physician.
  • Provide care and support to clients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
  • Offer end-of-life care and support to clients and their families.
  • Communicate effectively with the Client Care Coordinator to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Maintain accurate electronic documentation of care provided.

Requirements:

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Reliable transportation and a personal vehicle.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Three years of driving experience.
  • Proof of auto insurance with the caregiver's name listed as an authorized driver.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • State and federal background checks and fingerprinting.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds safely.
  • Excellent attendance and job retention history.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Positive work references and a compassionate, caring demeanor.
  • Professional image and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
