Position Overview

Intellis is looking for qualified candidates for the role of Part-Time Nursing Instructor. This position is designed for those who are passionate about nursing education and are eager to contribute to the development of future nursing professionals.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Delivering instruction for 1-2 clinical sections aimed at undergraduate nursing students each semester.
  • Collaborating with the course leader to oversee nursing students during their clinical practice.
  • Assessing students' written assignments and clinical competencies.
  • Engaging in on-campus laboratory or simulation exercises with assigned student groups.
  • Serving as a liaison to various clinical facilities.
  • Maintaining a flexible teaching schedule that may include daytime, evening, and weekend hours.

Qualifications Required

Candidates must possess:

  • A current Registered Nurse license in the state of Connecticut (or eligibility for licensure).
  • A Master's degree in Nursing.
  • Relevant clinical experience in the nursing field.
  • The ability to effectively engage with diverse populations.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in teaching, particularly with recent clinical instruction in an academic environment, is highly desirable.
