Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Audio Integration Expert to lead the design and development of audio systems for our electric vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, computer science, and mechanical engineering, with experience in system-level design activities, cross-functional team collaboration, and prototype bring-up, validation, and testing.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of audio systems, defining, testing, and validating hardware and system requirements, and managing integration of initial prototype systems.

About the Role:

  • Design and develop high-quality audio systems for electric vehicles
  • Lead system-level design activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Develop and execute integration test plans for hardware components and system features
  • Define, test, and validate hardware and system requirements for audio components and customer features
  • Manage integration of initial prototype systems, including bring-up, debug, and engineering test
  • Create product specifications for audio components and interface with suppliers

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategy for component delivery working directly with purchasing team
  • Drive functional safety analyses and decomposition of complex vehicle subsystems
  • Support systems integration efforts with interface definition, development, and testing
  • Utilize internal systems to document part releases

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and ability to apply them to automotive concepts
  • Experience designing and releasing electronic components from concept through production
  • Proven debugging and diagnostic skills in electrical, mechanical, and software domains

Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $170,000 per year
