HireVenture is a leading company in the consumer goods industry, and we're seeking an experienced Senior Firmware Architecture Lead to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of firmware for cutting-edge consumer products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement product requirements, developing and maintaining firmware architecture, ensuring scalability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Firmware Development: Lead the design, development, and testing of firmware for consumer goods products, utilizing C and C++ programming languages.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with hardware, software, and product management teams to define and implement product requirements, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Firmware Architecture: Develop and maintain firmware architecture, focusing on scalability, performance, and security.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance to junior engineers, mentoring them in firmware development best practices.
  • Debugging and Troubleshooting: Debug and troubleshoot complex firmware issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Degree: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of relevant firmware development experience, with a focus on new product design and development.
  • Programming Languages: Strong experience in C and C++ programming languages.
  • Firmware Development: Proficient in developing firmware for embedded microcontrollers (ARM Cortex M0-M33).
  • RTOS-based Firmware Development: Experience with RTOS-based firmware development.
  • Security Best Practices: Familiarity with security best practices, including cryptographic algorithms and secure boot protocols.
  • Low Power Design: Knowledge of low power design practices and experience with battery-operated consumer devices.
  • Debugging and Troubleshooting: Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Serial Communication Protocols: Experience with serial communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Teamwork: Self-motivated, team player with a strong desire to learn new skills and grow.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
