Job Overview

HireVenture, a leading consumer goods company, is seeking an experienced Firmware Development Leader to join their innovative team. This role requires a seasoned professional with a passion for firmware development and leadership skills to drive the creation of cutting-edge products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C and C++ programming languages and experience in developing firmware for embedded microcontrollers (ARM Cortex M0-M33). They will be responsible for leading the design, development, and testing of firmware for consumer goods products and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement product requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of firmware architecture, ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, and product management teams to define and implement product requirements.
  • Develop and maintain low-power design techniques for battery-operated devices.
  • Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
  • Implement and optimize secure boot protocols and cryptographic algorithms.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant firmware development experience, with a focus on new product design and development.
  • Strong experience in C and C++ programming languages.
  • Proficient in developing firmware for embedded microcontrollers (ARM Cortex M0-M33).
  • Experience with RTOS-based firmware development.
  • Knowledge of low power design practices and experience with battery-operated consumer devices.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
