Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at NR Consulting LLC. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse to deliver efficient and effective nursing care to patients. This includes collecting and reporting data, observing patient conditions, and contributing to care planning. The successful candidate will also provide direct patient care, supervise unlicensed staff, and participate in shift-to-shift communication.

Responsibilities:
  • Collects, reports, and documents objective and subjective data.
  • Observes patient conditions and reports changes to the RN.
  • Contributes to establishing individualized patient goals.
  • Assists in developing interventions to achieve patient goals.
  • Implements the plan of care.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Participates in review and revision of the plan of care.
  • Administers medications and performs treatments per physician orders.
  • Communicates pertinent data to the RN and/or physician.
  • Documents accurately and thoroughly.
  • Consults and seeks guidance from the RN as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
  • Currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
  • Experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing is preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the spoken English language.
  • Verification of TST (tuberculin skin test) as required by state law and in accordance with Company policy.
  • Maintains current BLS/CPR certification.
Work Environment:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will work in a skilled nursing facility, providing care to patients with various medical conditions. The work environment is fast-paced, and the successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a team setting.
