About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Systems Engineer to join our team at Jacobs. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining our Distributed Continuity Integrated Network - Top Secret Enterprise Services (DCIN-TS ES).

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular maintenance activities for Windows Servers and workstation clients, manage images, and oversee license upgrades to ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage day-to-day Enterprise device operations utilizing tools like Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), Group Policy, and other relevant technologies.
  • Ensure hardware and software configurations align with DoD Standard Technical Implementation Guides and relevant IT security standards to maintain a secure environment.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex performance, security, and technical issues to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.

Requirements


• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI

• Current DODD 8140/8570 IAT Level 2 certification or higher (e.g. CCNA Security, Security CE, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP)

• Proficiency in developing IT checklists, SOPs, guides, etc.

• Self-driven individual with a positive attitude and strong verbal and written communication skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Willingness to travel up to 10%


• Minimum 10 years of IT experience, including:

• 6 years managing MS Enterprise environments, Windows Server OS, and MS Windows workstations in classified and unclassified DoD settings

• 5 years handling Windows OS image creation using DoD Host Baseline framework for classified systems

• Extensive knowledge of MS MECM and patch management deployment

• Previous Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) and/or MCSE certifications

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
