Solar Impact, Inc. is seeking a skilled Solar Energy Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our solar installation team, you will be responsible for performing electrical work related to the maintenance, repair, and installation of solar energy systems for residential and commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct inspections and assessments of electrical systems to ensure compliance with NEC guidelines
- Execute the installation of electrical equipment, including solar panels and racking systems
- Apply a variety of tools and techniques for the repair and maintenance of electrical systems
- Collaborate with a team to complete all phases of solar installations, including job preparation, roof layout, and system monitoring setup
- Ensure full compliance with safety requirements and OSHA regulations
- A valid certification as a Journeyman Electrician or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with the NEC and ability to read electrical blueprints
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical work and construction
- Ability to work safely at heights, including on roofs and ladders, while adhering to Solar Impact and OSHA safety protocols
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurability for driving company vehicles
Solar Impact, Inc. offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $25 - $35 per hour DOE, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance; HSA contribution; EAP; 120 hours annual PTO; 401(k) match; and employee ownership/profit sharing.
