**Job Title:** Medical Technology Specialist

**Estimated Salary:** $85,000 - $110,000 per year

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technology Specialist to join our team at MedStar Health. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will assist with invasive cardiovascular procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and RCIS or RCVT certification, as well as expertise in EKG monitoring and IV insertion.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians during procedures while maintaining compliance with laws and hospital standards
  • Perform patient care responsibilities for adults, including starting IV's, EKG monitoring, cardiac outputs, and prepping and draping patients
  • Prepare equipment, set up the field for cases, and break down equipment after procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • RCIS or RCVT certification
  • Expertise in EKG monitoring and IV insertion
  • Bachelor's of Science preferred
