About the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced General Manager to join our team and drive operational success. This leadership role will oversee all Operational and Revenue generating divisions of the company, developing and implementing strategies with building contractors, concrete contractors, and structural engineers to achieve project and revenue goals within the Region.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of concrete construction means and methodologies, with at least 10 years of experience in a Concrete Formwork and/or Rebar company, including 5+ years in a leadership role. A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is preferred.
Key Responsibilities- Provide oversight for all Operational and Revenue generating divisions of the company.
- Develop and implement strategies with building contractors, concrete contractors, and structural engineers to achieve project and revenue goals within the Region.
- Lead and manage a team of project managers and superintendents to achieve project objectives.
- Responsible for developing training programs that complement and grow each specific functional team.
- Assist with the development of annual goals and performance measurements for the Company and review these on a monthly basis.
- Develop technical and sales strategies (design & pricing) for success on critical projects.
- Assist with the development of new commercial materials and technical approaches to launch and sell new capabilities.
- Assist project teams with winning proposals & documents.
- Travel to regional project sites to ensure projects are meeting quality, timeline, and budget goals.
The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
