**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Tech to join our team at Northshore. As a Patient Care Tech, you will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient care tasks and procedures necessary to ensure the care, comfort, and safety of patients.
**Responsibilities:**
* Perform patient care tasks and procedures as directed by the RN
* Provide excellent interpersonal skills, including teamwork, prioritization, and ability to receive and follow through on directions
* Attend in-depth orientation regarding patient care skill tasks
* Maintain current CPR certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross
**Requirements:**
* Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum six months of previous patient care experience or equivalent
* Successful completion of Care Companion Course within six months of hire when course is required by the department
