Job Title: Mammography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Rezolut Imaging. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging services, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of achieving better health outcomes.

Job Summary:

The Mammography Technologist is responsible for detecting breast tissue abnormalities by completing mammographic imaging studies and presenting them for diagnosis. This role requires a strong interest in scientific and technical skills and knowledge, as well as the ability to interact compassionately and effectively with patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct mammography studies by positioning breasts, adjusting compression mechanisms, and instructing patients to hold their breath.
  • Minimize radiation to patients and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques.
  • Maintain production and quality of mammograms by following established standards and procedures.
  • Ensure operation of mammography equipment by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and maintaining equipment inventories.
  • Document patient mammogram services by completing patient record charting.
Requirements:
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school and ability to meet requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT).
  • Mammographic Radiologic Technology certified.
  • Able to operate sophisticated computer equipment.
  • Strong interest in scientific and technical skills and knowledge.
  • Able to interact compassionately and effectively with patients.
