Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians and staff with clinical activities, including patient preparation, vital sign collection, and medical procedures.
  • Collaborate with the clerical staff to optimize office operations and patient flow.
  • Interact with outside healthcare facilities and agencies to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain updated competencies and demonstrate expertise in patient care and office operations.
  • Perform front office duties as needed and provide coverage in other departments or locations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support the model of patient and family-centered care.
  • Assume additional responsibilities, such as primary care gaps in care identification, outreach, and chart preparation, or high-level disinfection.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of an accredited MA program, including a clinical rotation, or equivalent experience required.
  • 6 months of relevant experience in a medical assistant role required.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a medical assistant role preferred.
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • At least one license and/or certification in an area of specialty required within 90 days.
Work Environment

Full-time position with a 40-hour workweek, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
