Our retail brick-and-mortar store in Kansas City located on the Plaza is hiring and we want a hard working, personable, goal-oriented Assistant Store Manager. The store is an experience where a clean, enjoyable, and fun environment is of utmost importance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive an excellent customer experience and revenue through inspiring, developing, and leading a high-performing team.
- Implement high customer service standards throughout the store and team, creating a positive and memorable experience for every guest.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, encouraging suggestive selling to maximize revenue and drive sales growth.
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish sales floor as needed, maintaining a clean and well-organized store environment that meets Normal standards.
- Provide constructive feedback on product sell-through to Store Manager, identifying opportunities for improvement and driving business results.
- Mentor and develop team members through clear communication, education, and training, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Support Store Manager on all aspects of the business, including inventory management, sales floor operations, and customer service.
- Embody a culture of respect and open communication, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of retail apparel experience, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
- Eagerness to learn through feedback and solve problems in a fast-paced environment, with a strong ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Experience working with and/or managing inventory, with a focus on maintaining high levels of accuracy and efficiency.
- Superior organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude, a passion for making people happy, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic, a willingness to take ownership of tasks and projects, and a focus on driving business results.
