Key Responsibilities- Direct and supervise nursing assistants in providing resident care, ensuring adherence to facility policies and procedures.
- Administer medications and perform treatments according to established protocols, ensuring accurate documentation and communication with physicians and consultants.
- Monitor resident activities of daily living, assessing mental status, physical condition, and psychological well-being, and coordinate schedules to ensure participation in activities and services.
- Chart nurses' notes in a clear and descriptive manner, reflecting care provided and resident response, and ensure all entries are signed and dated.
- Perform administrative duties, including completing medical forms, evaluations, and reports, and maintaining accurate records.
- Current, unencumbered LPN license in our state.
- Prior experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or related medical setting.
- Ability to relate to and work with residents, personnel, and support agencies, demonstrating flexibility, personal integrity, and effective communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull, or move 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally.
