Job Summary

Salem-Keizer Public Schools is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathology Assistant to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathology Assistant, you will play a critical role in improving student achievement by providing speech and language services and appropriate intervention services to eligible students under the direction of a licensed speech-language pathologist.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and language services to students, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to meet the needs of students
  • Collaborate with licensed speech-language pathologists to ensure high-quality services
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Experience working with students with communication disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Working Conditions
