Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain high standards of manufacturing operations, including housekeeping, safety, and maintenance
  • Provide exceptional leadership to staff, assessing performance and directing operational activities to ensure safety, product quality, and consistency
  • Implement and enforce company safety standards and programs to ensure a safe working environment
  • Leverage existing tools to drive process improvement and high performance
  • Procure and negotiate raw materials, ensuring availability to meet production demand
  • Develop and sustain a comprehensive preventive maintenance program
  • Oversee the financial performance of the facility, including P&L, budgeting, forecasting, inventory management, labor planning, and capital expenditures

Requirements

  • 2-year degree or equivalent combination of education, industry experience, and training
  • 2+ years of manufacturing management experience
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience in wood, aggregates, mining, or stone products preferred
  • Experience with heavy equipment preferred
