Position Title: Orthopedic Clinic Receptionist
Employment Type: Full-Time, Day Shift (8 AM - 4 PM)
Compensation: Pay Range $16.94 - $21.60*
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage appointment scheduling and respond to incoming calls, ensuring messages are prioritized and communicated effectively.
- Register patients and provide essential documentation, including the Bill of Rights and consent forms.
- Coordinate referrals and assist patients in completing necessary forms.
- Handle mail processing, including transportation, sorting, and distribution.
- Maintain precise medical records and billing data, adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Order office supplies with supervisor approval and maintain necessary logs.
- Address complaints and incidents promptly, escalating issues to the supervisor as needed.
- Perform additional duties as required to support clinic operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, including insurance authorizations.
- Previous experience in a medical administrative role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills are essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality is critical.
