Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Fitter and Fabricator to join our team at HandledNow, LLC. As a Fitter and Fabricator, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints to determine the layout and assembly of ductwork. You will also use a variety of tools and equipment, including forklifts, pipe threading machines, press brake machines, soldering irons, plasma cutting tools, and other hand tools to fit-up and assemble all types of structural steel. Additionally, you may be required to fit-up and tack small components which can easily be handled by one person. Your attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality control will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and quality of finished products. Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to determine the layout and assembly of ductwork
- Use a variety of tools and equipment to fit-up and assemble all types of structural steel
- Fit-up and tack small components which can easily be handled by one person
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a fitter or in a similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
- Proficient in using various tools and equipment related to fitting and fabrication work
- Ability to accurately measure, cut, shape, and assemble steel components
- Familiarity with different types of metals, including steel, used in construction and fabrication
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality control
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
