POSITION SUMMARYThe Adventures Manager plays a crucial role in managing the daily operations of various recreational facilities, ensuring a memorable experience for all visitors. This position encompasses the oversight of an ATV and Snowmobile Park, RV Park, Hunters Cabin, Tours, Boat Launches, Truck Scale, Kayak rentals, and other income-generating tourist attractions. The individual in this role is expected to exemplify ethical and professional conduct while promoting the company's vision, mission, and core values.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Supervise and provide coverage for team members across all facilities.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures by all staff.
- Oversee the check-in/check-out process and manage payment transactions.
- Handle reservations, including pre-registration, group bookings, and same-day requests.
- Welcome guests and address any inquiries or concerns during their visit.
- Manage inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies for the facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties and report maintenance requirements.
- Participate in safety and operational meetings.
- Ensure staff punctuality and compliance with uniform standards.
- Effectively manage guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated administrative experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Experience in team leadership.
- Ability to enforce safety regulations and ensure guest safety.
- Enthusiasm for outdoor activities, adventure sports, and recreational experiences.
- Familiarity with ATV riding, snowmobiling, kayaking, and other adventure-related activities.
- Attendance and Reliability: The employee is consistently punctual and rarely absent, completing tasks accurately and thoroughly.
- Communication Skills: The employee communicates effectively both verbally and in writing with colleagues and external contacts.
- Interpersonal Skills: The employee builds effective relationships with others, maintaining a professional demeanor and fostering constructive working relationships.
Preference will be given to candidates who can provide proof of enrollment in a federally recognized tribe. In the absence of qualified Indian applicants, all candidates will be considered without regard to race, color, sex, political preference, age, religion, or national origin.
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST:- Sign a confidentiality agreement.
- Be insurable to operate company vehicles.
- Possess a valid Driver's License or the ability to obtain one.
- Pass a drug test.
