Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Senior Helpers - Vancouver.
About Us:
Senior Helpers is an agency providing support caregiving services to seniors. We offer In-Home care that focuses on helping clients with daily activities, medication supervision, transportation, and light housekeeping.
The Role:
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will work closely with our clients to provide personalized care and support. This may include assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility. You will also be responsible for documenting changes in client conditions and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Provide medication supervision and administration
- Transport clients to appointments and errands
- Document changes in client conditions and maintain accurate records
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Prepare meals and snacks
Requirements:
- Positive attitude and patient demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Certification in HCA training (paid training provided)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
