Job Title: Food Service Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Associate to join our team in the Washington DC area. As a key member of our food service team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Job Summary:

  • Prepare high-quality food and baked goods according to planned menus
  • Prepare daily reports that verify transactions
  • Understand what is included in a meal
  • Maintain accurate and sanitary storage of food
  • Serve food according to meal schedules and department policies
  • Care for kitchen equipment, especially knives
  • Timely preparation of various food items and beverages
  • Add garnishes to ensure customer satisfaction and visual appeal
  • Coordinate major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and cooking and serving equipment
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations for sanitation, handling, and storage
  • Wear uniforms and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
