At Orlando Health, we are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care while performing diagnostic imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures to demonstrate anatomy and physiology for interpretation and intervention.
  • Exercise professional judgment in the performance of services and maintain a demeanor that supports quality care.
  • Deliver appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.
  • Comply with all state and federal regulations applicable to each modality.
  • Adhere to Orlando Health's mission statements and strategic imperatives.
  • Assess the patient's physical condition and age-specific needs.
  • Provide instructions that achieve patient cooperation and desired results.
  • Perform proper patient identification, acquire patient clinical history, and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Position patients, equipment, associated devices, and manipulate technical factors to achieve high-quality images for interpretation.
  • Assess diagnostic images for technical quality, proper annotation, and patient identification, ensuring that all relative anatomy is demonstrated.
  • Apply principles of MRI safety to patients, self, and others.
  • Comprehend and comply with Quality Control standards and participate in all Quality Control tasks.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in contrast medication administration with and without the use of power injectors.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology, Sonography, or Nuclear Medicine.
  • Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification, or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification.
  • Maintain current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
