Job Title: Diet Assistant

Job Summary:

The Diet Assistant will provide support to the Dietary Department by maintaining menu systems, performing tray line tasks, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect patient menu selections using BME
  • Distribute and tally paper menus if needed
  • Perform checks on tray line during meal service as needed
  • Modify therapeutic menus as needed
  • Process diet orders and diet changes using the WFMS computer system
  • Update nourishment, monitor all snack and supplement orders

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Computer application skills
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Prior work experience in a hospitality environment
