Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Buyer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Managing the full purchase order life cycle, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Identifying and recommending potential vendors to senior management, as well as terminating vendor relationships if necessary.
• Requesting quotes, researching, comparing, and negotiating prices, purchasing terms, and conditions with vendors.
• Coordinating with accounts payable to ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Replenishing inventory according to company minimum and maximum terms, as well as demand requests.
• Monitoring supplier performance and resolving any issues or concerns.
• Acting as the primary vendor contact to address quality issues and resolve supplier deficiencies.
• Managing timely deliveries and resolving any supply chain issues or discrepancies.
• Preparing and maintaining accurate inventory and procurement records and reports.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management.
• Certification in APICS or CPM.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business applications software, purchasing, and resource planning systems.
