Child Welfare Program Manager

Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Program Director to lead our Case Management teams. This role requires a high level of energy, adaptability to irregular hours, and ability to be on-call as required. The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated leadership and administrative abilities, with excellent customer service skills and ability to establish effective working relationships with agency staff and outside service providers.
Key Responsibilities:- Mission-Driven Leadership: Support the vision and purpose of LSF's Case Management Organization program by providing guidance, leadership, and direction to Case Managers, Case Manager Supervisors, Permanency Team, and Support Staff.
- Operational Decision-Making: Monitor daily operations to ensure client safety and case management progression toward agency goals, identifying cases of special interest or increased risk and arranging for staffings with Case Manager Supervisor and Assistant Program Directors.
- Collaboration and Community Partnerships: Serve as the leader for day-to-day operational decision-making, collaborating with community partners to address barriers impacting child safety, permanency, and well-being.
- Staff Development and Evaluation: Meet with each assigned direct report monthly to review team progress toward agency goals, perform written employee evaluations in a timely manner, and participate in recruitment, hiring, and training of new employees.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services field or equivalent experience; Master's Degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of job-related experience and 3 years of progressive supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated leadership and administrative abilities, with excellent customer service skills and ability to establish effective working relationships with agency staff and outside service providers.
- Able to interpret statistics to monitor contract performance, identify trends, and inform decision-making.
