Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer Substation Design

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer Substation Design to join our team at ConsultUSA. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the review and delivery of substation design drawings for capital and maintenance projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and prepare drawing/sketches for substation design equipment at various voltage levels.
  • Ensure sound engineering principles are employed and in accordance with all applicable codes and standards.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers in the group.
  • Attend field meetings at substations to support substation design work.
  • Review and finalize junior engineers' design prints prior to issue for construction.
Requirements:
  • Four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college/university.
  • 7+ years of experience designing substation equipment for electric utilities.
