Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer Substation Design Engineering to join our team at ConsultUSA. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the review and delivery of substation design drawings for capital and maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and prepare drawings/sketches for substation design equipment at various voltage levels, ensuring adherence to applicable standards and codes.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers in the group, related to substation design.
  • Attend field meetings at substations to support substation design work.
  • Review, mark-up, and finalize junior engineers' design prints prior to issue for construction.
Requirements
  • Four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college/university.
  • 7+ years of experience designing substation equipment for electric utilities.
