Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional care to variable patient populations, ensuring their well-being and satisfaction.
  • Navigate Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Skillfully use EMR software to order studies, medications, create lab labels, and generate armbands for a large population, ensuring accuracy.
  • Document nursing care in the ambulatory care setting efficiently and accurately.
  • Coordinate Patient Care: Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes in clinical care, quality, and cost effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Must graduate from a state Board-accredited program and hold an unrestricted LVN/PN license.
  • One year of practical or vocational nurse experience in clinic, lab, or immunizations.
  • Trainee Health Squadron (THLS) candidates are welcome.
  • Strong computer skills are a must.
  • Must hold current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.

Additional Information

  • Flexibility in Shifts: May be required to work various shifts or provide clinical nursing support during the absence of other team nurses due to illness, leave, or deployment.
  • Work shifts between , Monday through Friday.
