Job Description

We are seeking a skilled commercial painter to join our team at E V Bishoff Company. As a commercial painter, you will be responsible for painting various properties, including office buildings and retail spaces, in downtown areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize standard paint equipment, such as paint and airless spray equipment, motorized lifts, paint brushes, and other related tools.
  • Apply technical knowledge of coating materials to ensure proper application.
  • Prepare for painting by erecting scaffold and ladders properly.
  • Patch, repair, tape, and mud drywall.
  • Dispose of residual materials according to local guidelines.
  • Communicate daily with the office manager on job progress and supply needs.
  • Report to management upon job completion or when problems/discrepancies occur.
  • Maintain a neat and clean work area.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, paying particular attention to health and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work independently, lift and carry up to a minimum of 50lbs, and stand for long periods of time.
