We are seeking a skilled Commercial Painter to join our team at the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades - District Council 6. As a Commercial Painter, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality paint applications and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Application: Ensure walls are properly prepped prior to paint application, including repairing minor cracks and damage to drywall panels.
- Equipment Management: Manage and maintain all required equipment for the job, including airless sprayers and brushes.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality checks to ensure a high-quality finish and address any issues promptly.
- Communication: Keep your supervisor informed of your progress and report any job-related issues.
- Safety: Ensure all equipment and materials are used safely and effectively.
- Experience: At least three years of experience as a Commercial Painter.
- Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver's license and knowledge of applicable safety guidelines.
- Skills: Good knowledge of tools, materials, and methods used for paint application, ability to interpret construction blueprints, and basic math skills.
- Personal Qualities: Physically fit, able to work long hours, and possess exceptional customer service skills.
