Key Responsibilities
  • Transport products safely and deliver office supplies on assigned routes to customers.
  • Manage routes for drivers in the building, ensuring efficient delivery routes and schedules.
  • Load vehicles and organize product for delivery, utilizing manifests to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
  • Ensure safe work practices and foster a safety culture within the team.
  • Provide customer support, accept product returns, and empower customers to make their day.
  • Solve problems and make sound decisions in driving, parking, safety, and customer interaction situations.
  • Learn and utilize software applications, including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), and GPS and mobile Proof of Delivery (POD) devices.
  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicle, performing pre-trip vehicle inspections and reporting maintenance concerns.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving history, eligible to drive a commercial motor vehicle under applicable laws and regulations.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen, and obtain a 6-month DOT medical card.
  • Basic English language skills (verbal and written communications).
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs, push and pull items weighing up to 400lbs with assistance, and occasionally maneuver up to 130lbs.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 1-year of truck driving experience (operating a 16ft or longer straight truck) or comparable driving experience.
  • High volume/small package delivery experience.
