Compensation

The starting salary for this position is $17.50 per hour, with opportunities for increases based on experience.

Job Description

As a Mental Health Residential Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our residents in maintaining healthy sleep schedules, completing timely documentation, and assisting in cleaning and organizing of community spaces nightly.

You will also be responsible for administering routine and as needed medications for residents, problem solving and working in crisis situations, and communicating with shift staff for support when needed.

We are seeking candidates who have previous experience working in a residential community or transitional living program, and who possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide safety and security of the facility both inside and outside doing hourly rounds
  • Support residents in maintaining healthy sleep schedules
  • Completes bed checks as needed
  • Completes timely documentation
  • Assists in cleaning and organizing of community spaces nightly
  • Administration of routine and as needed medications for residents
  • Problem solve and work in crisis situations
  • Communicate to shift staff for support when help is needed
Qualifications
  • Candidates need to be at least 21 years old with an acceptable driving record to be on CooperRiis driver insurance
  • Previous experience working in a residential community or transitional living program preferred
