The Road Home is seeking a skilled Maintenance and Repair Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our properties, ensuring they are safe and habitable for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on properties, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and masonry work.
- Assist in developing and implementing a preventive maintenance program to ensure properties are well-maintained and equipment is in good working order.
- Comply with public health, safety, and fire regulations, and maintain properties in an orderly, neat, and clean manner.
- Abide by and implement property security measures, and move and place furniture, appliances, and other items within properties as required.
- Perform transportation, delivery, moving, pick-up, loading/unloading, and installation of household items, appliances, and other items.
- Safely operate Agency vehicles and equipment, and perform routine preventive maintenance and repair.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Minimum two years of experience in maintenance and repair, preferably in HVAC, carpentry, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, or automotive repair.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds, and meet the physical demands of the outlined duties and responsibilities.
