Job Overview

Direct Marketing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to enhance our operational excellence. This role is vital for maintaining the integrity of our production processes.


Position Summary:

The Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS) collaborates with the Laser Printing, Mailing, and Bindery divisions at Direct Marketing Solutions (DMS) to guarantee adherence to client specifications. The QAS applies a comprehensive understanding of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure that all materials are prepared for production in alignment with established protocols.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Confirms that materials produced align with the specifications outlined in the job ticket.
  • Ensures compliance of address blocks and barcodes with postal regulations.
  • Evaluates the font size, print quality, and accuracy of text in Laser department outputs.
  • Assesses the fold measurements and tray tags of Bindery department outputs.
  • Examines the sealing, postage, and contents of Mailing department outputs.
  • Immediately alerts the operator and relevant supervisor upon identifying any discrepancies.
  • Acquires knowledge of all SOPs related to Quality, Mailing, Laser, and Bindery departments.

Additional Duties:

  • Completes special projects and additional tasks as assigned by the Quality Assurance Supervisor.
  • Exhibits behavior consistent with DMS Values and the Code of Conduct.
  • Familiarizes with and adheres to all information technology and data security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Understands and follows DMS rules and established policies for workplace health and safety.
  • Complies with all other DMS policies and procedures.
  • Completes all mandatory compliance training punctually and in good faith.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One to two years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in using common office equipment and Microsoft Office applications.

Work Schedule:

  • Nights: Sunday-Thursday from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
  • Overtime may be required as necessary.
