Job Description:
The HR Coordinator will report to the Human Resources Manager in Council Bluffs, CB1 plant, and be responsible for tracking and coordinating compliance to absentee Control Policy. This includes assisting employees with employee benefit questions, handling confidential Human Resources information, recruiting, interviewing, and selecting employees to fill salaried and hourly positions. The successful candidate will also plan and conduct new employee orientation, maintain adequate records to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, enter and maintain employee records information, handle all on-boarding paperwork, and assist with various clerical/administrative duties as needed.

Estimated Salary:
$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of human resource experience, preferably bilingual (Spanish-English). A broad knowledge of federal and state employment laws, general knowledge of benefits and compensation administration, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good organizational and problem-solving skills, and technical skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Kronos, and HR-SAP) are essential. A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or equivalent; or two to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and training, is preferred.
